We asked three colleagues to describe Achyut. Their answers were one and the same: outstanding communication, fast response, and always takes ownership.
Achyut is a Project and Service Engineer based in Surat, India. Working remotely at one of our workstations, he leads projects and responds to troubleshooting cases in the area. This involves a significant amount of travel. He regularly travels some 260km from Surat to Ahmedabad or even as far as Nagpur, over 800km away.
Working on remote projects, and as the only ICD colleague in the state of Gujarat, Achyut faces some distinct challenges. He has less local support from partners and suppliers, and is somewhat removed from the project and service team in Mumbai.
But Achyut takes this in his stride and never fails to complete a service case or project on time and to the client’s satisfaction. Clients are often wowed by their experience working with him, as the below feedback shows:
“Achyut was very pleasant to work with. He was fast, efficient, a great communicator, and very knowledgeable with the equipment. I look forward to working with this team again in the future.”
“Achyut made a significant difference to our operation… thank you for your excellent support and professionalism”
Throughout the challenging conditions presented by Covid-19, Achyut has continued to show his commitment, determination, and customer-centric mindset. Not only are there additional health and safety protocols and PPE requirements, but working remotely during lockdown also makes travel, finding accommodation and even a meal much more difficult. However, Achyut’s motivation to complete the work and gain customer satisfaction helps him stay focused and ensure his projects and cases are completed smoothly.
ICD’s commitment to provide outstanding service to clients across Asia Pacific has fueled rapid geographic expansion in the region in recent years. We now have over 30 workstations at locations away from the key large commercial hubs in India, China and Southeast Asia.
The fact that our global clients can still receive first-class service at sites in lesser-known, more isolated locations is down to the commitment and quality work of our remote frontline colleagues like Achyut.
