On Wednesday 2 November, the Shanghai Chapter of ASIS International, an international organization for security professionals, held an event for security professionals in Shanghai to discuss security issues surrounding commercial and labor disputes. With speeches from the Association of Security for Enterprises in Pudong New District (ASPEPND) and a leading risk management consulting firm, the event shared real case scenarios to help analyze some of the best practices for dealing with and settling such disputes.
As a member of the Board of Directors for ASIS Shanghai Chapter, Ricky Du (ICD’s East China Operations Manager) helped warm up the afternoon’s session with a presentation exploring the use of security data for improved security and operations efficiency. As part of his speech, Ricky introduced some of the latest innovative solutions that integrate security systems with systems beyond security, such as an intelligent visitor management solution and a campus shuttle bus solution.
