ICD was recently approached by leading security magazine A&S International to offer insight into security management among multinational companies (MNCs) for the vertical market focus of their June edition.
ICD APAC Sales Director, Aimee Zhang, was interviewed by the organisation's Taipei representative and features heavily in the article 'MNCs: Global Security Policies Drive Convergence' which also quotes other senior management from global security brands such as HID and Genetec.
Emphasising the importance of systems integrators, such as ICD, to have a global accounts team and provide a single point of contact for cross-regional accounts, Aimee also touched on how MNCs often seek a centralised and standardized approach to security. She added that ICD often recommends global companies to set up 'regional command centers', not just global ones, in order to better manage security operations.
An interesting read for anyone involved in employing large scale global security operations, the full article can be read via downloading the e-magazine from the A&S
