ICD reinforced its reputation as a leading security solutions provider for clients in the energy sector this month when it was awarded a security project for a cutting edge research and development center for lubricating oil in Shanghai, China.
This project is the latest in a series of high profile engagements with energy sector companies for ICD, including a comprehensive regional security implementation programme in Southeast Asia for a leading global oilfield services provider, as well as a major manufacturing and R&D campus in Singapore.
For this latest engagement, ICD shall provide a comprehensive access management security solution based on a security software platform designed to deliver convenient integration and easy scalability for future expansions. Our project team shall also take advantage of ICD's global footprint to help the client connect the site's security system to their regional security operations center in India in order to for the client's security team to achieve effective coordination of security operations.
The solution shall protect a site that consists of 9 floors above ground and 3 basement floors, and shall be the company's largest research facility in the Asia-Pacific region when construction finishes in 2014. The completed site will allow the client to move even closer to local customers in the China market, which is already the largest for lubricating oil products in the world.
