ICD has helped a global automotive company based in Germany to design and implement a comprehensive security system integrated with a touch screen-based booking system for their newly built Chengdu training center, which opened on April 16th, 2013. The close integration of the security management system and the high-end room booking system allows the training center staff to streamline security and training session coordination and helps them to achieve increased efficiency in their daily operations.
The training center is the company’s largest in the world to date and the sixth of its kind to be built in China after Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Xian and Chongqing. The center is a state of the art facility, featuring mock showrooms that allow sales, management and technical personnel to experience a realistic work environment and receive holistic, practical training. The center, which covers an area of 5000 square meters, also features 20 training rooms, 7 hands-on rooms, 2 demonstration rooms and a “truck-workshop” area.
The security system provided by ICD also features rolling and sliding doors, 55 card readers and 20 cameras.
