ICD wins security project for 180 acre agricultural site in India

A major US-based chemical company has selected ICD to design and implement a facility covering more than 180 acres for an India-based subsidiary that focuses on crop protection and seed production. The site, currently under construction in Hyderabad, India, shall consist of greenhouses, administrative buildings and research laboratories and is the largest plot of its kind to be constructed by the client's Indian subsidiary to date.

This site shall play a major role in the client's efforts to develop and supply new seed varieties to the 3.5 milllion farmers with whom the client works with in India. ICD's security solution shall help the client to meet the challenge of ensuring effective monitoring for this large mission-critical site, including surveillance of the access points on the site perimeter, as well as sensitive operations sites throughout the premises.
