ICD chosen as exclusive security vendor in China for government-funded nuclear safety initiative

ICD has been chosen by a US-based corporation specializing in nuclear materials for a joint-venture with the Chinese government to increase the security of radioactive materials throughout China. The initiative is part of a larger global effort funded by the U.S. government to protect, reduce or remove civilian nuclear and radioactive materials.

The US government provides funding to ICD’s client to assess the existing security of sites operating high-activity radioactive materials, and then to work with local security contractors to accomplish site-specific security objectives. To this end, ICD shall act as the exclusive provider of security system implementation services for all future projects in Mainland China.

ICD looks forward to supporting our client as they work with the Chinese government on site security initiatives and is proud to contribute to ensuring the safe management of radioactive materials in Mainland China.
