Since 2008, ICD has served as the principal strategic partner for one of the world’s leading network equipment corporations for security in the Asia-Pacific region. In addition to acting as the exclusive provider of system integration services for all of the client’s Asia-Pacific sites, we support the client with a variety of value-added services that enable the client to enhance security management in the region in a numerous significant ways.

ICD supports the client by providing dedicated warehouses in India and Hong Kong and takes the initiative to notify the client when stocks are low. Stock levels and items purchased are summarized in monthly reports that include year to date and quarter to date spending data. We also guarantee a fixed supply of hot spares available for the client to use in sites throughout the Asia-Pacific region. The result is a significant reduction in project lead times thanks to the constant and immediate availability of security equipment. Guaranteed fixed stock levels also mean that we are able to negotiate significant discounts from equipment providers on the client’s behalf.

The embedded onsite staff placed on the sites throughout Asia by ICD are another significant source of value for the client. By placing professional security staff onsite, we are able not only to achieve a full and constantly updated understanding of the client’s security requirements, but also to provide the client with immediate support on a range of security initiatives. Services performed by our onsite staff include security system design and configuration, system administration and maintenance, project management, coordination with local service providers, site audits and negotiations with the client’s security vendors.
