<p>With more than 100 years history, MSD is one of the largest pharmaceutical manufacturers in the world. Occupying more than 75,000 square meters, the new factory is believed to be one of MSD&rsquo;s largest packaging projects in recent years. According to current design, an integrated security system consisting of access control, CCTV and alarm systems will be installed in the factory, which will include over 100 card readers, as well as Passive Infrared Sensors, an intercom system, and a surveillance system. The goal was to equip the client with the know-how to fully realize their potential of their security system and maximize return on investment.&nbsp; It was an excellent opportunity for the end user to ask questions about different functionalities and play through simulated scenarios.&nbsp;</p>
<p>Held on site in Exxon Mobil&rsquo;s office, the training was conducted by an 8 person training team from ICD&rsquo;s Shanghai Office, &nbsp;including a Senior Account Manager, Sales Supervisor, Project Manager, System Administrator, Customer Support Manager, Professional Services Consultant, and Senior Sales Engineer. The wide range of expertise presented at the meeting has offered the trainees useful insight from both service and technical perspectives.</p>
<p>The entire training lasted three days and covered topics such as Technique, Design, Operation and Troubleshooting of Lenel systems. Besides an introduction to the theory, there was plenty of interaction, Q&amp;A, testing and case studies. In addition, three demo kits were brought in for hands on training with the hardware. The customer was very satisfied with the outcome.</p>

The two events, filled with exciting discussions, performances, and sport competitions spanned 3 days with ICD and Brink&rsquo;s teams attending from Australia, India, Japan, Singapore, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Mainland China and the US. CEO, Ron Efron, remarks: &ldquo;We have a unique culture and a unique diversity of people. And personally I think we really do have GREAT people in ICD.&rdquo;&nbsp;In 2011, ICD&rsquo;s business continues to grow and looks to keep attracting new talent to join its ranks.</p>
